PSG plotting shock £100 million move for Tottenham star this week
Tottenham failed to sign a single player in the last transfer window, that was the first time it ever happened since the transfer window was introduced in 2003.
Despite their failure to bring in reinforcements, Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he expects some players to leave the Lilywhites this summer before the European transfer window closes.
Danny Rose and Moussa Dembele are two players who have lost their place in the team’s starting eleven and are expected to leave, however, PSG wants a Spurs player who is a major cog in their wheel.
Reports claim that the French giants have turned their attention to the signing of Christian Eriksen after missing out on signing Ivan Rakitic this summer.
Eriksen has two years left on his current deal, and the club expects him to follow the likes of Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane to sign an extension, but he could be on the move.
The reports claim that PSG are prepared to pay £100 million for the former Ajax man. While his departure would create a major void inside the Spurs midfield, it is unclear if they would turn down that much money.
