Chelsea line up shock move for Fulham striker to replace Alvaro Morata
Chelsea seem to have given up on Alvaro Morata and the Blues are looking to sign a replacement in the next transfer window.
Morata has continued his poor run of form from last season and was dropped from the line up in their last match against Cardiff City. Olivier Giroud started in his place and impressed greatly, but the French man would be 32 years old very soon.
Reports from the media claim that Chelsea are monitoring Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic and they are planning to sign him as a long-term replacement for Morata.
Mitrovic only joined Fulham this season from Newcastle on a permanent basis and he has netted four times in his first five league games.
He played the second half of last season with the Cottagers and scored 12 times in 17 games to help them gain promotion back to the Premier League.
The report claims that the Blues hope to make him the long-term replacement for Morata.
